Competition information:

Three competitions will be run this year by WCA:

# Rounds 1 and 2 are played from 12:30 to 5:15 pm due to earlier sunset.
% No cricket will be played on Saturday 25th January, to allow players to attend the Test match in Brisbane.

Umpire and grounds fees are payable on match days:

  • Umpire fees are $60.00 per team per day for Saturday and Sunday competitions; $30.00 per game for Sunday T20.
  • Grounds fees for synthetic pitches are $125.00 for one-day games and $190.00 for two-day games.
  • Grounds fees for turf pitches are $135.00 for one-day games and $230.00 for two-day games.

Note also that, similarly to last season, WCA will no longer charge grounds fees for washed-out game days – however, grounds fees are slightly higher to compensate.

Players wishing to participate must complete a club registration form. This can be done in person at our official sign-on weekend on the 18th & 19th August, 2018, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, by mail, email or via the MyCricket website (Direct link). Forms and relevant information are available here.

Please also note that teams will only be nominated if a minimum of 10 players have paid their registration fees by Wednesday 22nd August, 2018. Team lists to be submitted to the club by Sunday 19th August, 2018.
All registration fees are due prior to season commencement, or players are not eligible to play.
