# Super Sixes has been renamed to “Master Blasters” for the U8 and U9 age groups.

^ The U16 age group has been reintroduced in 2024. This means that any player aged 15 as at 1st September 2024 can choose to play in either the U16 competition or Opens. Any player aged 16 or 17 MUST play in the Opens age group.
@ In 2015, the playing age for Open Division was extended to 18 for those who are turning 18 in their last year of school – the player must still be in secondary school.
Age restrictions were introduced for the Opens age group in 2023. To be eligible for an Opens team, players must be at least 15 AND younger than 18 as at 1st September 2024.
