Girl’s Cricket:
Brisbane North will be running an all-girls competition again this season. The games are on Sunday mornings and Albany Creek are hoping to have a number of teams in this competition.

Season dates:
Juniors:
First half of season: Friday 8th October (U8s and U9s), Saturday 9th October (all other ages except Girls) and Sunday 10th October 2021 (Girls) to Friday 3rd December, Saturday 4th December or Sunday 5th December 2021 respectively (8 weeks, 9 match days).

Second half of season: Friday 28th January (U8s and U9s), Saturday 29th January (all other ages except Girls) and Sunday 30th January 2022 (Girls) to Friday 18th March, Saturday 19th March or Sunday 20th March 2022 (7 weeks, 8 match days).

Note that due to the shortage of suitable grounds, Under 14s will again play on Saturday afternoons, with games starting at 1:15 pm.

Warehouse:
Season starts September 2021 for all competitions (actual dates TBA). See here for the latest information.


Sign-on Information:

Sign-on for all cricketers for summer 21/22 is on the Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd of August 2021 from 10am to 12pm at “The Hawk’s Nest” on the north oval at our home grounds at South Pine Sports Complex, Brendale.

All registrations and payments are to be made through the MyCricket website, as Cricket Australia have made registration through MyCricket mandatory for juniors due to an arrangement with the insurance provider (JLT).

You are welcome to attend our sign-on days to chat to our committee, ask questions and check out our facilities, but we prefer people to register and pay through MyCricket. See below.

If you are unable to attend sign-on, you can simply register and pay online via the club’s MyCricket registration page. See below.

Costs – Juniors, All Age Groups

Full season (8/9/10th October 2021 to 18/19/20th March 2022) $200
Each subsequent family member (full season) $135
Pre-Christmas half-season $155
Post-Christmas half-season $145

What you get:

  • Your fee is the TOTAL COST – NO further weekly costs;
  • For new or first-time players: a baggy red club cap, drink bottle, protector & ACCC long-sleeved playing shirt;
  • A team photo;
  • All equipment provided, with exceptions as per COVID-19 requirements.

Costs – Seniors (Warehouse)

Saturday Competitions $TBA
Sunday T20 $TBA

Umpire and grounds fees are payable each week for Warehouse competitions. Grounds fees are only payable when playing away games, and depend on the type of pitch – turf pitches incur higher fees.

Cap Day

Subject to COVID-19 restrictions, cap day this year will be 3rd October 2021 at 11:00 am at the grounds (oval 1, Hawks Nest).
New players will be presented with their club caps. Existing players can meet their coaches and teammates.

If we are unable to have the presentation due to COVID-19 restrictions, the caps for new players will be organised in a pack for each team and delivered prior to the start of the season.


U8 – U9 Age Groups

U8 and U9 players play on Friday nights under lights at South Pine. Previously known as Super Sixers, the Friday night comp has been renamed to “Master Blasters”. Click here for details.

U15 – U17 Age Groups

As for last season, players in the U16 and U17 age groups will be registered in the Brisbane North Open age group. U15s continue to be in their own age group (see here for ages for this season).
