There has been some confusion when registering for the Master Blasters options due to wording appearing on the Playcricket website.

The Playcricket website states that Master Blasters is for players aged 7 to 10. However, the Albany Creek Friday night Master Blasters program is for 6 to 8 year olds.

It is the same format played very successfully here over the last 7 seasons. All games are played at home each Friday at the South Pine Sports Complex, Brendale. The games consist of 12-16 overs per team with all players bowling two overs each and each batter facing the same number of balls. There are 6-8 players on the field only. All gear (bats, pads, gloves & helmets) are provided by the club – you just need to provide white shorts/longs and running shoes.

At Albany Creek, 9 and 10 years olds play on Saturday morning in the Under 10 and Under 11 competitions respectively.
