Brisbane North will be running an all-girls competition again this season. The games are on Saturday mornings. The last couple of seasons, Albany Creek have not had any girls-only teams but we do have about 20 girls playing in mixed teams in the Brisbane North competition.

If you’re interested in playing girl’s cricket, please contact us at accc@albanycreekcricketclub.com.au for more information.

Season dates:

Cap Day

Subject to weather restrictions, cap day this year will be 5th of October 2025 at 11:00 am at the grounds (oval #1, Hawks Nest).

New players will be presented with their club caps. Existing players can meet their coaches and teammates.

If we are unable to have the presentation due to COVID-19 restrictions, the caps for new players will be organised in a pack for each team and delivered prior to the start of the season.

U8 – U9 Age Groups

U8 and U9 players play on Friday nights under lights at South Pine. Previously known as Super Sixers, the Friday night comp has been renamed to “Master Blasters”. Click here for details.

U11 Age Group
Due to the new longer format for U11 games, we will no longer be able to play them in the morning before the U10 games. They will now be played in the afternoon, commencing at 1:30pm.

U14 Age Group
Due to a shortage of suitable grounds, U14s will play in the afternoons for the first half of the season (Oct to Dec) with games starting at 1:15pm.

U15 Age Group

U15s continue to be in their own age group (see here for ages for this season).

U16 and Opens Age Groups
Age restrictions introduced last summer for the Opens age still apply. To be eligible for an Opens team, players MUST be at least 15 AND younger than 18 as at 1st September 2025.
To cater for players who were in U15 teams last season and playing up in age, the U16 age group has been re-introduced.
This means that any player aged 15 as at 1st September can choose to play in either the U16 competition OR Opens.
Any player aged 16 or 17 MUST play in the Opens age group.

Warehouse Cricket

Don’t forget we also have Senior Men’s Warehouse sides as well.
