Steve Casey’s U13 Falcon Hawks have won their Winter Warehouse season final against Gold Coast on Saturday & Sunday August 24th and 25th, 2013.

Game report:

Once again Pearson won the toss and we batted. The Gold Coast had a strong side with many representative players.

Another great “Captain’s knock” by Pearson set us up for a formidable score. Luke, Sam and Nick all made handy contributions to bolster the runs scored by Cam, Pearson and Jack.

Once again the opposition were not going to lie down. We saved our worst catching performance for the final, but the boys only bowled ten wides in 70 overs and strangled the life out of our opponents.Three of our boys came straight from an AFL final and made great contributions with the ball.

Congratulations Falcons. It was a great season and I was tremendously proud of the way you all conducted yourselves on and off the field. You are a credit to your clubs and families.
